On September 29, 2026, LEGEM will host a participatory workshop on the theme “Media & Racism,” co-organized with the ACORT association. This event is part of the 31st season of the Intercultural Encounters of the 10th district.

PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP
Media & Racism : deciphering discourse, identifying biases
A collective workshop on intellectual self-defense and media analysis.
Clarifying our points of reference : Pooling and comparing our definitions (neutrality, opinion journalism, systemic biases).
Debating together : Does absolute media independence exist? Can (or should) journalism be neutral?
Put it into practice : Small-group exercise analyzing recent articles to track word choices, implicit framing, and blind spots.
This workshop will be the first introductory installment of an upcoming series.
